LodeStar Advisory Group, LLC® is an independent, "fee-only", boutique wealth management firm. Because of our size, we are nimble and can quickly respond to changing market conditions and/or your life events and transitions, making adjustments as needed.
Our firm was founded in June of 2003 by George Kiraly, Jr. who also serves as the firm's Chief Investment Officer.

George is a Certified Financial Planner® and member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA). As a "fee-only"
wealth manager, he offers independent, objective and unbiased advice. He does not sell products. George is known for several prescient market calls over the years and successfully navigating his clients through turbulent market events, including the Financial Crisis of 2008.
Besides selecting and managing investments, George has analyzed portfolios and manager performance; helped clients through job changes and salary negotiations; evaluated the pluses and minuses of insurance companies and their policies, and suggested alternatives; built solid retirement plans for clients; offered advice on assets held elsewhere, on whose advice he earned no fees; advised on real estate acquisitions and business plans; helped clients make wise social security benefit decisions; advised clients to prioritize their own businesses or pay down debt rather than invest with him and helped clients through family financial crises, even advising on tax and estate planning issues.
Whether George is working with business owners, families or individuals, all of his clients have one thing in common: the desire to pursue their goals and dreams and have an experienced professional help them to make smart financial decisions. George offers wise counsel as your personal financial advocate and confidant.
In his spare time, George engages in the odyssey that is fly-fishing, for trout. His father introduced him to the sport as a child and he still goes out each Spring with a fascination for what is a difficult, complex and demanding endeavor. George is also an avid golfer and exercise enthusiast. He has run in many 5K and 10K charitable races, even competing in and completing, a triathlon event.
Adam A. Kiraly

Adam is a "fee-only" wealth advisor who is committed to working with clients to help them successfully achieve their financial goals through a holistic, planning-based approach, including custom-designed investment recommendations, retirement analysis, insurance strategies, estate planning and tax planning solutions.
Adam offers independent, objective and unbiased advice. He does not sell products. Adam brings extensive experience within the banking industry, including wealth management, to help lead LodeStar’s clients to long term financial success. He has worked in the banking industry for over 10 years and served as a Financial Services Consultant at Bank of the West in California, helping clients navigate through a myriad of complex financial issues. More recently, and prior to joining LodeStar, Adam was with Merrill Lynch and Edward Jones in
Adam's unique training and work experience provide a strong base from which to deliver the professional insights and service that clients have come to expect. As a fiduciary, Adam will always place your interests above his own and those of our firm.
In his free time, Adam can be found hiking, running, fishing, reading and spending time with his family. He also enjoys cooking and entertaining with his wife, Andrea.
Mario A. Manrique

Mario supports ongoing and ad-hoc requests from the Founder & Chief Investment Officer. He assists in the execution of projects and strategic initiatives and supports follow-up actions and tracking.
Mario is studying at the University of Pittsburgh and is pursuing a degree in Finance, which will provide him with a thorough
understanding of how financial markets operate and how to make effective investment and financial decisions for individuals. Mario's longer-term goal is to obtain the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation awarded by the CFA Institute.
Finance majors at Pitt Business have an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the school’s Financial Analysis Laboratory. The 3,000-square-foot facility, which resembles the trading floor of a investment bank or financial firm, is equipped with 58 computer stations, a stock ticker, and tote display boards that give students hands-on training with the equipment and technology used in the capital markets industry. The University of Pittsburgh is one of only 36 schools in the United States to be involved in the CFA Program Partners initiative administered by the CFA Institute.

Maria joined the LodeStar® team as the firm’s Client Services Manager
in September of 2016. Prior to joining LodeStar®, she worked at PNC Bank in client service and before that, ran her own successful small-business firm for over 10 years.
Maria is the main contact for all questions outside of financial planning and investments. Maria brings her knowledge and expertise to assist
LodeStar® in our back office operations, including helping clients with their client services needs such as setting up and maintaining new accounts, transfers, client meetings and scheduling.
Maria is enrolled in the CFA Institute's Investment Foundations Program, covering the essentials of finance, ethics, and investment roles, providing a clear understanding of the global investment industry.
Candidates who successfully pass the online exam earn the CFA Institute Investment Foundations Certificate, demonstrating a mastery of core foundational principles of the investment profession.
